Based in France, ECT-Industries, subsidiary from the NSE group, is a European manufacturer of electronic systems for the aviation, naval, and transport industries.
Founded in 1994 with two repair shops, it developed steadily through organic growth and acquisition of other companies, providing high operational and commercial synergies. Today ECT is renowned for its expertise in 5 core businesses:
- Night vision systems
- Data monitoring systems
- Electronic and electromechanical equipment
- Maintenance, repair, overhaul and retrofit services
- Tracking systems
- Railway signals and systems
With six business units throughout the country and one subsidiary (Bayo), ECT Industries employs a staff of 175, and realized a turnover of 22,4 M euros in 2010. ECT is listed on the Alternext market since the 25th of October, 2006. Its registered office is located in Noisy le Grand, near Paris (F-93).
Research projects
ECT is involved in several research projects in the context of competitiveness clusters:
- CISACS Project (Astech pole) : Pooling of the control electronics of the future electromechanical actuators for flight controls and auxiliary;
- APACHE Project (Pegase pole): Application to Fuel Cell Electric hybridized;
- BMCI Project (PACA Sea pole): Housing maintenance and Investigation, to monitor the health of equipment on board a ship.
