ECT Industries presents its new Automatic Identification System (AIS).
 The new Automatic Identification System (AIS) is a medium range coastal tracking system used to locate and identify all vessels above 300 GT and all passenger ships. Used by officers of the watch and by VTS stations to enhance safety at sea, the AIS receiver can also be installed in patrol aircrafts for homeland security, maritime surveillance, fleet management or Search and Rescue missions. The SAR25B is a specific AIS / GPS equipment designed for airborne applications and qualified under RTCA DO-160F requirements which can be used as a stand-alone unit or as part of a global Mission Management System.
