Night flight in VFR conditions requires the usage of night vision goggles.
By amplifying the residual infrared spectrum of the area, they allow the pilot to fly in excellent security conditions.
In counterpart, interior and exterior aircraft lightings have to be adapted not to blind the NVG user.
