Thanks to its 20 years of experience in designing Usage Monitoring Systems (UMS), ECT Industries developed a comprehensive system for aircrafts to record, analyze and transmit data by satellite.
The central module "Brite Saver" consists of a unit that acquires and analyzes real-time monitoring parameters of the engine. Depending on the option chosen, an indicator light signals the exceeding of a parameter in relation to a predetermined threshold either in flight or at the landing of the aircraft. This equipment meets the specifications of the regulations JAR OPS3.
The Data Transfer System (DTS) can be connected to the preceding. GPS data and anomalies detected by the Brite Saver are immediately reported and transmitted by Iridium.
A complementary module meeting the specifications of the standard ED 155, completes the system. It retrieves the flight parameters of the aircraft as well as crew conversations.
Data is recovered after the flight and processed by computer for further analysis. The software features are many: settings, anomalies and trajectory display in 3 dimensions. In the field of security, the satellite link allows real time tracking aircraft and transmition of an alert if there is an anomaly.
In the field of maintenance, the analysis of data indicates any dips in performance and schedules preventive maintenance actions required.
The benefits are numerous: - Increase the safe operation of equipment; - Maximize the availability and logistics; - Controlling operating costs.
